Read "On Writing" by Detroit Free Press columnist Mitch Albom and
respond to it in writing by doing the following:
- Write a full paragraph (minimum 4-5 sentences) summarizing the message of
the entire speech.
- Write one paragraph explaining the message of
each of the three main parts of the speech:
- One paragraph on LEADS
- One paragraph on MIDDLES
- One paragraph on ENDINGS
- Select five representative passages that you
either admire or feel make a strong impression:
- Copy and paste or retype each quote each quote on your blog.
- Write a response after each quote. Why did you choose
it? Why did you like it? Why did it leave an impression on
you? Do you agree or disagree with
what he is saying? Explain.
